What’s on Your Purse?
Beauty Blog:
Do you carry a purse, a diaper bag, a clutch? Most women I know carry some type of bag with all of their essentials in there. It could be your favorite purse, your diaper bag with your wallet buried someplace at the bottom or your clutch. Whatever it is, do you ever think about where you put it? Does it land on the floor of a bathroom stall because the hook is full of your bags and your coat or the hook is not there? Does it land on the floor of the restaurants you eat at? Does it then land on the seat or the floor of your car followed by the counter tops at your house? Do you sometimes put it on your bed?
Well you might just want to rethink all the places that your beloved purse falls and where you will put it next time. If you ever put your purse on the floor of a bathroom, you might want to rethink that option no matter what. If the hook is not there, the floor is NOT the next best place. Floors, especially bathroom floors, are full of all kinds of germs from people going to the bathroom to what is on the bottoms of people’s shoes. All of that is then moved to the bottom of your purse and taken to your next destination. That next destination could be your home, your car, your bed. Think about it.. Would you put your shoes on your counter tops or your bed? I know that I wouldn’t. I make sure I take my shoes off when I come home most of the time. However in the past I have not been as worried about where I put my purse.
If you put your purse on the floor of the restaurants you visit, think of all the germs that cover that floor every day! Food that is dropped, spilled, splattered. Germs from shoes from every person who has been in that same area, maybe another purse. In any event, there are tons of germs you may not want to take into your car or your home at the end of the day. So when you are at a restaurant, I encourage you to either just take in your wallet so you can put it on the table next to you, hang your closed purse on the back of your chair, next to you in the booth or in an extra chair at your table. Whatever you do, avoid the floor.
Another way to help prevent the spread of germs from your bag to your life - home, car, kids, self - is to use a cleaner to clean off your purse, especially the bottom! Do this on a regular basis to help prevent the spread of germs and the next time you think about dropping your bag on the floor, think again!

Comments on What’s on Your Purse?
This is indeed a good reminder and warning on where we keep our purse in any place that we are going. I for one thing never put it in any floor be it a restaurant or any wash room.
