Week One
Beauty Blog: Health and Fitness
Everyone seems to have a time in their life when they just want to get back to their “ideal” weight and a weight they are comfortable with. I am no exception. Last December I was 5 pounds from my “ideal” weight when I got pregnant with my son. I knew that my hard work for the past several months would change and I would be growing my child. I also knew that this would be the last time I would ever be pregnant. I had two living children and my angel in heaven. With the birth of my fourth child, my family would be complete.
My son was born at the beginning of August via C-Section. Having a C-Section meant that I would have to wait 6 weeks to work out again the way I had been before I got pregnant. Well I have hit week 5 and have done some small workouts but nothing worth keeping track of. I also feel so much better after this C-Section than the one with my first son 18 months ago. In the last three years I have been pregnant three times for a total of 96 weeks - close to two years. So my body has been through a lot. If you have ever been pregnant you know what I am talking about.
So today begins my week one of getting back to 6 days a week of workouts and eating well for 6 days. One day off, Saturday, to relax and eat whatever I would like. I am going to using the exercises I have used in the past from Body for Life to get me where I would like to be. I have 14 pounds left from my pregnancy and the 5 more I would like to drop as well. So I want to shed 19 pounds a healthy way. I love to exercise and eat healthy for the most part. I am going to blog about my progress every Sunday and if you would like to join my journey, please do so and leave your comments below each week.
I will be working out at a local 24 Hour Fitness, using my iPod with great music to keep me focused and on track, and using a journal to record my goals, my progress and what I eat. I found this great journal at SporteeGal and even blogged about them before. I look forward to feedback from all of my wonderful readers. Let week one begin with an easy run.

I look forward to following your journey and learning from it too! You have my deepest respect for the family to which you have committed as well. I had to go wow when you wrote that you had been pregnant for almost a two year period in the last three years. That’s incredible and I’m certain that it has left it’s impact on your body.
Kudos to you!
