During the hard economic times some people have to make a choice between which beauty service or product they go without. A lot of that depends on price. Some women may have to give up their favorite foundation and try something less expensive or they might have to give up their monthly eyebrow wax because it is too expensive. Some local salons and spas charge anywhere from $25 to $40 to wax, pluck, and thread your eyebrows. While most of these high end places do a wonderful job, during this economy who can afford to spend that kind of money plus the 20% expected tip when you can get a great wax job for $10?

A small nail salon on the corner of Leetsdale and Quebec. Queen Nails is the salon we have gotten a wonderful eyebrow wax for just $10 from Nicole. They have a very small waxing room without the high tech chair or table and without all the fancy magazines and music. However are you coming for the waxing or the atmosphere? We went for the waxing and the price. Nicole does a professional job using a new wooden stick to apply the warm wax, removes it with her washed hands and throws it away. She shapes and styles the brows to make them look great. In a few short minutes and a lot less dough you can have your eyebrows waxed and have enough over for next month’s visit.
No appointment is necessary, you can just walk in. However if you do not want to wait and you want Nicole to wax your brows then we suggest you make an appointment.
