Store offers free beauty seminars, discounts during MELTOPIA April 20-26
Beauty addicts will once again be able to indulge in delicious handmade soaps, scrubs, lotions and body butters, when MELT, a Denver hallmark re-opens its fragrant doors at 17th & Market in LoDo and in the Cherry Creek Shopping Center this month. Everyone is invited to pamper themselves with daily complimentary beauty seminars and 20% off all products during MELTOPIA Monday, April 20-Friday, April 24, in LoDo and through Sunday, April 26 at Cherry Creek. Colorado Springs will celebrate its new store at Citadel Mall April 27-May 3.
MELT, founded in 2001, offers fresh, healthy, cruelty-free products, all handmade in Colorado. Created to reflect the Colorado way of life – and
Coloradoans’ dry skin - products are made with generous amounts of shea butter, vitamin E, gentle cleansers and olive oil and are free of parabens, mineral oils, and petroleum. MELT encourages its customers to sample the skincare line in-store and treats them to hand massages and product demonstrations while they shop. With new products and lines being launched this year, the company’s signature fizzy balls, sugar scrubs and men’s shaving products have continued to be Denver favorites.
LoDo’s complimentary beauty consultations, held during lunch, include fat testing from Fitness Together (Mon. 11 am-1 pm); Meet MELT founder SteveMcNally (Tues. noon); best teas for health and wellness from Wystone’s World Teas (Wed. noon); hair and color consultations, and hand massages from Luxe (Thurs 11 am – 1 pm), and a lecture on skin vitamins and
supplements from Vitamin Cottage (Fri. noon).
Cherry Creek’s free events, held 5 pm – 8 pm Monday through Friday, include best teas for skin & wellness, plus preparation tips from Wystone’s World Teas (Mon. 6 pm), Fat tests from 24HourFitness (Tues 5-7); best vitamins and supplements for summer skin from Vitamin World (Wed. 6 pm); make-up consultations from Benefit (Thurs. 5-7) and Meet MELT founder Steve McNally (Fri. 6 pm).
MELT-LoDo, located at 1350 17th Street is open Monday-Friday 11 am – 6 pm;
