Orlane Paris
Beauty Blog: Skin care
I am a beauty product junkie and if I had a disposable income at my finger tips for beauty products my bathroom would be overflowing with them. On a recent stroll through several department stores, looking at their beauty products I came across a product line called Orlane Paris found at Neiman Marcus. While I was there, I was treated to some pampering by Kellie the Orlane Paris Product Specialist.
My pampering started with a 7 minute facial with
Orlane’s Absolute Radiance Set. The goal is to make you ready for the ball in 7 minutes. Use this when you need to look your best and did not have time to get a facial at your favorite spa. I did love the results, I cannot tell a lie. However, I did not love the price. I was in sticker shock so I am not sure if you get 6 or 8 treatments out of each kit for $200. As radiant as I did look after the 7 minutes, I could not justify the $200. I could buy more products with that kind of money. However if I had my disposable income I would have added Orlane’s Absolute Radiance Set to my purchase that day. Maybe next time when I have landed the jack pot.
Since I was not interested in the Absolute Radiance Set, I was told about some other amazing Orlane products that would fit into my beauty budget. I am not against spending some money on products that I will use every day for six months or more and get some results. I am always looking for results in products that I use. Since I have very dry skin most of the time including my face, I am always looking for a great product that will give me the moisture I desire. I have not found many since Bath and Body Works discounted one of their natural lines.
Kellie suggested I try Orlane B21 Gentle Soothing Cream. After trying a sample on my hand and face I decided to try it out. This product cost more than I was spending on previous products but some times you must spend more to get better results. However, it was not $200 and I have found since doing some additional research that you can get this products and many more of Orlane’s products online for less than what you can find them at Neiman Marcus. The benefit of going to Neiman Marcus and working with someone as wonderful as Kellie, is you always leave with a bag full of goodies you did not have to pay for. I also purchased Orlane’s B21 Vitalizing Scrub and a Lip Kit from Laura Mercier. My purchases totaled less than $200 but I walked away with a cute black mess bag that I can throw sun screen in and go to the pool, another Orlane B21 face wash and toner and about 11 other Orlane samples for me to try. In all what I spent was worth more than $200 because of all the treats I got with it.
So if you are in the market for some new beauty products you might think about visiting your local department store, trying a product you have been interested in and hopefully locating a wonderful, knowledgeable Product Specialist who will “hook” you up when you leave.
Happy Shopping. If you visit Kellie at the Orlane counter at Neiman Marcus, tell her we sent you.
