The annual “Night at the People Park” to benefit Big Dogs Huge Paws is being held on June 30, 2012. This event will be a lively, interactive, and educational party featuring a celebrity host, live and silent auctions and the opportunity to place your friends and peers in the “Dog House”. They are looking to “Dig Up” some really exciting treats for auctions items. As a donor to this fun and exciting event, your company would be highlighted in their video which will be played that evening as well as acknowledged in our program.
Big Dogs Huge Paws is a 501c3 non-profit organization that survives strictly on donations and other sponsorship and grant funding.They are all volunteers and none of us are paid for the work they do. All of the money donated to their cause goes straight to the dogs in their care and helps to cover their costs which include transport, premium dog food, behavioral training, supplies, vet care, and medical supplies. Every foster dog that comes into their program is spayed/neutered, gastropexied(when possible), vaccinated, heartworm tested, dewormed, micro-chipped, and they treat any pre-existing conditions that they might come in with. They often get dogs requiring major medical procedures such as knee surgery, hip surgery, emergency bloat/GDV surgery, and more. In addition, their organization is also committed to providing free public education about giant breed dog ownership as a service to the community.
