Multi-Effect
Beauty Blog: Make-up
When I recently ran out of mascara, I decided it was time to try a new product and try a new product is what I did. I decided to try out a mascara by stila cosmetics. Since there are always so many different types of mascaras to select from no matter what company you go with, I decided on a
mascara called multi-effect mascara. Here is what stila-cosmetics has to say about their own product: Multi-effect mascara is a true multi-tasker. It does the job of three formulas by volumizing, lengthening, and curling with just the right amount of building power! Experience this ultimate mascara - and make a lash-ing impression.
My first impression upon using this mascara was how much clumps to the brush. Yes it is a brand new tube of mascara but I had to wipe a lot off the brush before I could use it. It was clumped on there and I certainly did not want that on my lashes. However everyone knows that first impressions aren’t always the best so I decided that over time this may change. I applied the mascara to my lashes and felt that the brush separated my lashes and did add some volume. With the brush being round I was able to get the ends of my lashes and the lashes that seem hard to reach in the corner of my eyes.
Over time the brush did not have as much additional mascara on it when I first pulled it out of the mascara tube. There is still some on the tip that I have to wipe off before use but other than that it is fine. I like the mascara overall. I only use black mascara but this specific mascara comes in black or brown and sells for $20 which is not unreasonable for a tube of mascara. If you have tried this mascara or have a favorite one of your own, let us know!
