My wife is a mom who rocks!!!
She had our daughter while completing her M.A. at the University of Denver and never lost a beat. Her grades remained high and she led a student group, worked two part-time jobs, and took care of our home and family for more than two years. She also volunteered in the community during this time.
Now, she is establishing herself in a new career while I return to school. Yet, she still manages to work a second part-time job , volunteer, and take classes full-time. Our daughter is happy and healthy.
My wife is the rockinist mom ever! She has supported me, lived her dreams, and taught our daughter how to be a great person. Plus, she makes Tatum’s life special and encourages her to imagine all of life’s possibilities. It is not unusual for me to come home and find them eating dinner in tu-tus and tiaras! This mom deserves to be pampered…

The mom I am thinking of is a stay at home mom of twin 3.5 year olds. She is one of the most energetic, loving, giving and pacient people I know. She is raising some of the best behaved kids on the plane, and has no family in town to help her. Her kids are smart and follow directions. She has taught them spanish and sign language when they were babies. She makes sure that they are involved in activities and learning all the time. The kids actually know the capital of every state in the country! She is very giving to others. Any time someone she knows has a new baby, or is going through a difficult time she is there with a homemade meal. She is always babysitting other peoples kids (for free), when they need a hand. Her husband was recently laid off, and they are worried about their financial situation. She has taken to making her own yogurt and bread to save money and give her kids healthy food. She is not spending any money on herself, and she really deserves some papmpering!!! Her contact information is: ammenezes@comcast.net

The mom I would like to share with you all is my older sister. We have been best friends since I can remember. She has ALWAYS been my role model and best of all a GOOD ONE!
She has two amazing little girls all while running a house hold, running her own business and being a serious educator for a HEALTHY Lifestyle for all. She has an organic skin care line that produces completely toxin free skin care products at the same time, she promotes awareness and educates woman, men and children around the world about the importance of CHEMICAL free life styles!
Every person who meets her walks away feeling so connected, loved, appreciated and just down right GOOD. She touches peoples lives every day in a million amazing ways. Over the years, I have watched her bloom an amazing family, grow a fabulous business and become an even more beautiful person each and every day! I have seen her battle through some illness’s over the years with grace like NONE other, ALL while maintaining patience, love and respect for EVERYONE around her.
I could never convey her greatness through a story, since I am not a writer. BUT, I know in my heart that she is a deserving woman of all the great things to come her way for all the love that she has put into this world. I was so excited at this chance to share my story of the beautiful mom I know! I am a better person because of her. If she reads this, I would like to say “Thank you for being you and for letting me be me”....all the love in the world....Tamara

While I could sit here and write about how amazing my wife is for getting her RN degree while pregnant with our baby girl, graduating at the top of her class, and all the other things that great mothers do, I would rather take a more serious approach. My wife has taken on a role as a new mother to our 9 month old little girl that is unparralled! I have NEVER seen so much compassion and love given from one human being to another! The thing that makes this so beautiful, is that my wife was raised by her father, and didn’t have a mother-figure in her life. Her inate ability to be EVERYTHING a great mother is makes my soul melt with an almost spiritual calmness, knowing our baby is being cared for by the person that loves her most in this world! My wife would easily make more money than me if she worked, but the incredible peace of mind I have knowing that my baby is with her mother everyday cannot be described in words. I apoloigize for being vague, if I attempted to list the qualities my wife posses as a mother, it would take 20 pages. All I’m hoping to convey in this message is feeling. If there is anyone on this planet that deserves to be pampered this mother’s day, it IS my wife. She has no idea I’m writing this, and it would mean the world to me to be able to give her something special on this, her first, mother’s day.

There is one word I have to describe my Mom – simply amazing. A woman full of grace and love and forgiveness and hard work. As a child, my Father made many mistakes only to leave our family when I was a pre-teen. My Mother, a 2nd grade teacher battling lupus and fibromyalgia, took on 2 other jobs in order to keep my brother and I going. We never had to want for anything or go without. She was at every single basketball game, choir performance, teacher’s conference and evening homework session. She helped us grow and nurtured us as two parents all in one…all while suffering silently from chronic pain and fatigue. But she never once complained or gave up. My Father passed 4 years ago and while we had some difficult times, my Mother forgave him for what he did to our family. Through her example of a loving, Christian woman – I also forgave him and learned that my past helped mold me into the strong woman I am today. Last year, my Mother developed severe blood clots in her lungs that almost took her life. I was devastated and in fear of losing the most amazing woman who ever lived- but she fought through it and persevered just as she has for years and years through the ultimate hardships. This Mothers’ Day, I want to reward the woman who has battled so much with something relaxing to enjoy her day – thank you Mom – you are truly amazing!
