Missed Workouts

What do you do when you have to miss a planned workout? Do you try to fit it in later or do you just skip it all together? I recently had to miss a workout due to a flat tire. It messed up my whole day. I find it difficult to fit in a workout unless I do it in the morning. If I do my workout first thing in the morning then I am able to have childcare for my 1 year old and my other two are at school. I also find that I am much happier and relaxed for the day if I have worked out in the morning.
With three kids I have also had to realize that working out 6 days a week is not always going to happen. When you add College Football season the chances of working out 6 days a week becomes less. This makes me sad but I also realize it is just part of life and “rolling with the punches”. So that is what I do and am learning to do more of.
I have found a wonderful groove at the gym in the past three weeks and it consists of doing more classes at the gym and not doing my own workout. I have found that I push myself much harder when I am taking a class and I have found that I am getting my body into the shape that I have been wanting as well.
