Miss a Workout

If you like to exercise on a regular basis, you and I both know that there are times that a workout will be missed. There are several reasons why this can happen and does happen but what do you do when it does happen? Do you do a double workout the next day? Do you try to get in a mini-workout at home? I would love to know what you do to make up a workout.
I recently missed a workout which really bummed me out. My options were few so I did a few exercises at home such as push ups, bench dips and abs. This was to help compensate for my upper body workout that I had missed that day. I also doubled up on my workout the next day by completing my cardio exercise and then doing my upper body workout. It felt good to do something at home and then to complete a full upper body workout the next day at the gym.
I think one of the key things for me is to get my workout in, it is a huge stress reliever for me and it also is something I enjoy doing. When I miss a workout, I try to find a way to get is some exercise during the day. Take a walk with the kids, play outside with them, do some type of modified workout at home.
