Yesterday I began the process of under arm laser hair reduction at Rocky Mountain Laser Aesthetics. It will be a five month process with a treatment every 4-6 weeks depending on when I can get in. I plan to go every 4 weeks as long as that is possible. I had considered laser hair reduction before but it wasn’t until my daughter’s school auction that I really decided to get it done. Rocky Mountain Laser Aesthetics was kind enough to donate this service to the school auction and I won it.
Yesterday I went in and completed the paper work, discussed the process with Kelly who is a paramedical aesthetician and certified laser specialist. Kelly was very nice and very professional. I was taken back to the laser room and prepared for the treatment. I was not sure what to expect. I knew there would be a cool breeze during the procedure but other than that I had no idea. It was not painful, it felt like little bursts of heat. I wouldn’t say that it was comfortable either but it was fine. I look forward to seeing the changes over the next five months.
I will be blogging about this journey after each procedure to let you know my thoughts and how the progress is going. Super excited to have this done and use one less razor. I don’t think I could deal with this on my legs though.
