Father’s Day Giveaway sponsored by Pamper Yourself Denver!
Tis the season to honor all the wonderful Dad’s in our lives! You must know one… He could be your Dad, the father to your children, your bother, your uncle, the amazing do it all man that you work with. It doesn’t matter how you know them, what matters is that they are amazing! The staff at Pamper Yourself Denver wants to know all about the amazing fathers you know!
As the owner of PamperYourselfDenver.com, I want to share my own personal story about an amazing father - he is my husband - Kyle.
The amazing father that I know is the man I see every day with my children. I have seen him go from a man who dedicated his entire life, his time, his energy, his focus to his business. His business was his baby until our first child arrived 6 weeks premature on August 20, 2004. Kyle was in Atlanta, GA when my water broke and I was taken to the hospital. He had his staff book different flights in the hope he would be able to be there when Bailey entered the world. Well he was. He arrived about 30 minutes before Bailey was born. Knowing Bailey was early and had yet to cry, he went with her to the NICU while I hoped and prayed she would be okay. During the next 22 days as our little girl lived in the NICU, I saw a man who was devoted to his business push all that aside to be devoted to his only child. He would visit her every morning before work, he would visit her on his lunch hour and right after work. We were only allowed to visit Bailey at certain times when she could be held. Kyle was there every day. I have a picture from every day he spent with Bailey in the NICU. When Bailey was allowed to come home with us, I saw how proud he was, how he was going to protect her from everything and he was going to be that amazing father I had dreamed of for my children.
As a mother I know the love I feel for my daughter and I can see the love Kyle has for her in his eyes every day. He would do anything for Bailey. He would give her the world if she wanted it. I saw the same devotion in 2007 when Kyle and I faced the worst tragedy a family could, we lost our second child - Kenzi. Due to many things out of our control, we lost Kenzi when I was 6 months pregnant. I knew the pain and anguish I felt when she was stillborn and I saw the same pain and anguish in Kyle’s eyes as he saw her tiny, little body. I saw how helpless he felt when he could not ease my pain. I saw how much he loved Kenzi as he held her, touched her tiny fingers and toes. He caressed her little head and told her he loved her. I have hardly ever seen Kyle cry - but he did that day. He cried tears of pain, dreams lost and emotions I will never know. That day, changed us forever.
In 2008 we welcomed our 3rd child - Kamden, our son. Kyle has found a way to manage his business while being an amazing father to these two amazing kids. Their faces light up when he comes home from work. They both love being around him, playing with him, laughing with him. He had made it his time to put the kids to bed each night. He has his routine with Kamden and then with Bailey. It is often after both kids are in bed for the night that he returns to his boxes from work. It is very rare that he allows his limited time with his children to be missed. It is this that I think is so wonderful. He is building memories with these children that will last a lifetime. Memories that I am thankful my children have.
In August, we will welcome our next son - Karson. Though this will add more craziness to our lives and our schedules, I have no doubt that Kyle will be able to build the same bound with Karson that he has with our other two children. He too will know the love, dedication and devotion that Kyle has to his children. Karson will also know that his father would move mountains for his children.
Kyle has also been supportive of my desire to honor Kenzi with the creation of Dolls for Daughters. This is my amazing father story. Of course Kyle cannot win anything but your amazing Dad/Father could. Don’t miss the chance to nominate them!
We will be posting information about products that the amazing Dad’s can win. They do not have to live in Colorado to win!

“My father is a security officer and he protects people. I love him because he works hard and goes to school.” - Analyze Antillon (age 7)
“My dad is great because he plays with us all the time even when he is tired and sick.” - Arazely Antillon (age 5)
My husband has been right by my side for the last 9 years. We have three children who adore him! He always puts our needs first to his own needs. My husband works full time and attends college online for Criminal Justice. He has a dream of becoming a police officer, but has had some problems pursuing that because of a mistake he made as a minor. Even though God has not yet opened the door for him to have the pride of wearing a police badge, my husband has never doubted that God has big plans for him. My husband is a very postive person who even when things are not going very well, he has trust in God that he will guide us through to victory. My husband has given up a dream of his, becasue it would have required him to be out of town and away from his family. I cried at the thought that we meant sooo much to him! I hope that one day he will accomplish his dreams, goals and be reconigized for his hard work and passion for God and his family.

I have always been in awe of the strength of my dad. He is the youngest of 7 children and his dad passed away when he was 7 years old. My grandfather was 70 years old when my father was born and passed away 7 years later.
It hit me as I got older how amazing it is that he grew up with out a father, but has been a wonderful dad to me and my 5 brothers and 1 sister.
He has the most integrity of any man that I have ever known.
