Are You a BAD gal?
Beauty Blog: Make-up
BADgal lash mascara is a product of Benefit Cosmetics and can be found online, in several department stores and at Sephora. I purchased mine at Sephora in the Cherry Creek Mall.
Mascara seems to be a staple in most women’s makeup drawer or bag. I know it is in mine. Now I have gotten into a habit of not wearing mascara all of the time but I do wear it on a night out or when I am spending more time on my makeup. One of the main reasons I have not been applying it every day is that I currently have my eyelashes tinted and there isn’t the need.
Badgal lash mascara is a pretty great product overall. I really like how thick the brush is and that the mascara does not clump when removing the brush from the bottle. I always use a black mascara but I am sure the brown has the same results. When I applied the mascara, I loved how well it went on my top lashes for the most part. It was a little difficult given the size of the brush for it to get the corners of my eyes without leaving some mascara on my nose and upper eyelids. The same was true for the most part on my lower lashes. I did like the fullness the mascara gave my upper lashes and the brush did a good job of keeping my lashes from clumping together. Therefore I did not need to use an eyelash brush to separate them.
Here is what Benefit Cosmetics has to say about their own product: Why we love it: Sexy, sultry, pure unadulterated black mascara for full, voluminous lashes. It’s as BAD as you want to be! What else you need to know: Famously big, bodacious brush coats lashes with our super black formula.
Product details - 8.5 g net wt 0.3 oz
Here is a YouTube application video that you can view to see how the product goes on. Due to an embedding problem, I was not able to put the video directly into the blog.
I would say overall this is a good mascara but be prepared to dab off a few areas here and there after application.
