2 for 1

The inner bargain hunter in me is always looking for 2 for 1 deals. Ways I can get more for my money and find items with more than one use. Now some people feel that it is better to spend more and have exactly what you need - 1 of everything but I don’t feel this way. And considering the economy who could feel this way? So here are some of my personal 2 for 1’s and ways that I save buy buying items that have more than one use and often last a long time.
- Hair - I often will change up my shampoo/conditioner routine and I make sure that at least one of my products is a shampoo/conditioner combination so I don’t have to worry about using both when I am in a hurry or when I am traveling. So if the budget is tight then I suggest going this route. There are many brand out there that now offer the 2 for 1 combination at a reasonable price.
- Face - this is where it gets fun. I have several products that I use for more than just what they seem to be intended for…
- Body - For a body wash and for shaving I use Neutrogena Rainbath® Shower & Bath Gel Original. I really love this product and have used it for shaving for years. In the long run it is less than shaving cream and leaves my legs smoother. There are two different sizes and they range in price depending on where you get them.
Bobbi Brown’s Flint Eyeshadow - I use this to fill in my eyebrows, as a shadow when I need a dark shade and as an eyeliner. All of this for $20! If I decided to purchase each on their own I would be spending more than $20 and I am sure at least one of the products would go bad. This way I change up a look when I want to without having to break the bank!
MAC Cosmetics’ Mineralize Blush - I use MAC’s blushes as blush and for eyeshadow. I often try to buy the limited edition products that are either a pinkish tone or a bronze tone. When I use the product for my eyeshadow there are times when I will use it alone or pair it with another shadow or two. Again getting two products for the price of one at a cost of $21.
Bobbi Brown’s Pot Rouge - I use this product for my cheeks or my lips. It runs about $22.
So those are my 2 for 1 bargains and how I try to save money and find 2 for 1 products. Share your 2 for 1 ideas with us!
